Clinic Volunteers

Unlike most rescue groups, Forgotten Cats' mission is to help the homeless cats who for no fault of their own find themselves abandoned, cold, hungry and alone. Many have never had the comfort of a full stomach, the security of a home, nor the kind touch of an owner. Many come in needing medical attention due to untreated infections, injuries from cruel humans, anemia due to parasites sucking their blood faster than they can reproduce it, dehydration, etc.

The Forgotten Cats clinic is the only chance these cats have to start a new life. By sterilizing these cats and treating their ailments, Forgotten Cats gives them a chance to live a new healthy life. Every cat in Forgotten Cats system starts its journey at the clinic. We are in desperate need of help. Just a few hours of your time will make the difference between life and death for many of these cats. Please consider this opportunity. You can help with the following:

  • Intake cats in morning from 8:30am-10am
  • Assist in surgery as a veterinary technician
  • Input medical records on computer
  • Scrub surgical instruments and prepare surgical packs
  • Prep cats for surgery
  • Discharge cats in evening from 5-7
  • Clean up in evening anytime from 4-8
  • Laundry

Please fill out our volunteer application so that we can match you with our volunteer opportunities.
